Ocean Art by Kovel is a website that showcases a lifelong artistic ocean love story in photos, video, and voice. It’s told from a “big ideas” perspective to awaken and educate.
Fish sculptures embodying his “big ideas” theory grew out of Kovel’s love of tuna, shark, and marlin fishing, all bigger than life fish, and his global scuba diving adventures.
His artistic motivations are drawn from being intimately connected with the deep blue water oceans of the world. Kovel thinks poetically about our ocean’s past and future.
From blue whale size majesty down to the tiny grains of white beach sand that get washed up on our earths palm tree seashores and island beaches these are subjects for his focus.
